Planning has always been a passion of mine, which I have been fortunate to turn into a career not once, but twice. I spent 25 years in the legal industry, with the last 10 years focusing exclusively on estate planning. I was also a military spouse, coordinating 14 family moves across town or across the country. With each move, I would find myself planning itineraries for our own vacations or for our countless visitors to explore the area. My husband's military retirement and our relocation back to our hometown of New Orleans provided the opportunity to explore another path, leaving the practice of law and turning my travel planning hobby into a career.

I am a Certified Travel Associate (CTA), having earned my designation from The Travel Institute, the oldest and most respected non-profit certification organization in the travel industry. These credentials require that I have at least 18 months of travel industry work experience, completed rigorous certification and testing, and continue to fulfill stringent education credit requirements each year. Much like an accountant or doctor with their respective credentials, my CTA designation means that I am committed to upholding the highest standards of my profession while providing expert advice to my customers.

I have obtained Verified Travel Advisor (VTA) certification from the American Society of Travel Advisors (ASTA), the leading global advocate for travel advisors, the travel industry, and the traveling public. ASTA’s certification programs provide a higher level of verifiable professional knowledge to the advanced seller of travel. Completion of the Verified Travel Advisor Program proves to the traveler, and the industry, that the advisor has the highest level of proficiency and dedication to their business. The intense nine-course curriculum allots twelve months of completion consisting of training manuals, online videos and exams. Once completed, the travel advisor is awarded the distinguishing mark of being an ASTA Verified Travel Advisor.

I am also a Certified Cruise Counselor with Cruise Lines International Association (CLIA). I have completed training programs with numerous travel suppliers and am constantly adding to this list.
